Вопрос
Хочу купить билеты на поезд из Милана до Флоренции через сайт "Trenitalia". Тарифы "Base" и "mini" значительно отличаются по цене. В чем существенная разница между этими тарифами, кроме цены, если не предполагается отказ от билетов или внесение каких-либо изменений в билеты с нашей стороны?

The BASE fare is the “basic” solution that has no restrictions. The “Flessible” tickets will be more expensive, and any discounted ticket (if available) would be less costly. If you choose the BASE Fare, for a train with seat reservation at the same time, you can make two booking changes for free until the train departs, and once within three hours afterwards. Also, if you decide to change your ticket, you can do so only once until the train departs, and pay a change fee of 20% of the ticket with the maximum of 3 Euros. The trains under the Base Fare are the Eurostar Italia Alta Velocità Fast, Eurostar Italia, Eurostar Italia Fast, Eurostar City Italia, Intercity, Intercity Notte (night), Express trains, Couchette, Wagon Lits and Excelsior.
Refunds
• Before the train leaves: refund less 20%
• After departure: until 3 hours after, refund with a deduction fee of 50%. The request may only be made at the place of departure or issue, provided that the place of issue and the place of destination are not the same.
The MINI fare
◦ offered on ALL trains EXCEPT the “regionale”
◦ must be purchased no later than MIDNIGHT of the DAY PRIOR to travel
◦ allows only one reservation change, no later than midnight (23:59) PRIOR to the scheduled departure of the original scheduled train. The new reservation must be for the SAME city pairs, on the SAME category of train, with a departure date or time AFTER (not before) the originally scheduled departure. The traveler must pay the difference between the regular fare and the discounted fare. Changes are processed ONLY at manned ticket windows or at the authorized travel agency in Italy which issued the ticket. NO CHANGES ALLOWED VIA THE WEBSITE
◦ can be refunded, with a 50% forfeiture, no later than midnight (23:59) PRIOR to the scheduled departure of the scheduled train. Refunds are processed ONLY at manned ticket windows or at the authorized travel agency in Italy which sold the ticket (! There are NO no refunds FOR MINI tickets with a value under 10 Euro !)
◦ No “hop on” privileges allowed to other trains without a properly issued reservation change (as described above).

Если вносить изменения или отказываться от поезки не планируется, то берите наиболее дешёвый. Разница в цене именно из-за возможности внесения изменений.
